In pillaging America, nothing ever changes — even during COVID-19

President Trump's advisors for reopening the American economy are essentially the same class of folk that moved American manufacturing and medical defense to China.

And then didn't think to prepare anyone for biological warfare or a pandemic.

Here . . .

. . . Business Insider says, are the top 20 on that list (of creatively minded looters):

Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase

David Solomon, CEO of Goldman Sachs

Stephen Schwarzman, CEO of Blackstone

James Quincey, CEO of Coca-Cola

Chris Kempczinski, CEO of McDonald's

Mark Roman, CEO of 3M

Daniel O'Day, CEO of Gilead Sciences

Sheldon Adelson, CEO of Las Vegas Sands

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla

Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon

Tim Cook, CEO of Apple

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook

John Malone, CEO of Liberty Media

Adam Silver, NBA commissioner

Roger Goodell, NFL commissioner

Vince McMahon, CEO of WWE

Bob Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots

Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks

Condoleezza Rice, former secretary of state

Steve Forbes, editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine

Doubt?

Why would we dare question that the same people who:

wrecked American self-defense

and

working class self-protection(s)

as well as

negated public health

and

condemned tens of thousands of Americans to unnecessarily early deaths —

can get everything back on track

after the COVID pandemic

that their Master Class

actions and inactions invited?

Why indeed?

The moral? — In the United States, always appoint purulent pillagers to lead

Our well-demonstrated penchant for societal self-destruction is enough to turn even reasonable people into 'Libertarian' Maoists and Trotskyites.

I like jumbling political terms. The practice could liberate, were anyone thinking.
