US demonstrates its intention to murder Ukraine — Defense Secretary Austin's morally atrocious statement

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said the following . . .
. . . thereby giving Russia no choice but to continue the Russo-Ukrainian War — which the US had provoked as a matter of NATO-expanding policy:
"We want to see Russia weakened to the degree that it can't do the kinds of things that it has done in invading Ukraine," Austin said at the news conference.
"So it has already lost a lot of military capability. And a lot of its troops, quite frankly. And we want to see them not have the capability to very quickly reproduce that capability."

Let's pretend that Russia or China said the same thing . . .
. . . about the United States.
Would such a statement lead to negotiations and peace?
Or, much more likely — upon hearing of such a plan — would America eagerly enhance its capacity for (allegedly beneficially) distributing mayhem?
You can bet that statements like Austin's are welding China and Russia more closely together. With much of the rest of the world being inclined their way.
No sane country wants to partner up with a nation that intentionally provokes war all over the planet — and explicitly also suggests that — it wants to eliminate other people's capacity to defend themselves from the Primary Causer-of-Trouble.
Let's put this into historically accurate context
All Russia wanted at the outset was that the US agree that Ukraine would not enter NATO. Nor would offensive weapons be placed on Ukrainian soil.
The US aggressively rejected both those ideas.
And now that war has begun, America is insisting that the war continue until Ukraine — and Ukrainians — are more or less obliterated by the existential predicament that we deliberately put Russia in.
How's that for proxy murder on a nation-wide scale?
The moral? — Nihilism and Avarice run the United States
With awe-inspiring doses of viciously inclined stupidity thrown in.
I'm pretty sure that Jesus Christ and Martin Luther King Jr are going to pick another ark to ride in.
