Will militarily 'pussy' Putin remain so? — Should he?

Background to this question
From the BBC:
In an operation said to have taken 18 months to prepare, scores of small drones were smuggled into Russia, stored in special compartments aboard freight trucks, driven to at least four separate locations, thousands of miles apart, and launched remotely towards nearby airbases.
We cannot possibly verify Ukrainian claims that the attacks resulted in $7bn (£5.2bn) of damage, but it's clear that "Operation Spider's Web" was, at the very least, a spectacular propaganda coup.
"No intelligence operation in the world has done anything like this before," defence analyst Serhii Kuzan told Ukrainian TV.
"These strategic bombers are capable of launching long-range strikes against us," he said. "There are only 120 of them and we struck 40. That's an incredible figure."

Meanwhile
Two Russian bridges evidently also exploded:
Two bridges collapsed in separate Russian regions bordering Ukraine on Saturday night, killing seven people and injuring dozens, with Russian officials alleging the bridges had been deliberately blown up.

So, after militarily lollygagging for more than three years . . .
. . . will Putin — or his generals — finally wake up to real existentiality of what they previously (propagandistically) claimed was a life-or-death struggle with the constantly attacking West?
Or will it take an uprising from the Russian population to wake these too clever by half, glacially slow moving chess players to the genuinely existential threat that the parasitically warmongering United States poses the Federation?
The moral? — And where is Trump in all this?
Still randomly bloviating about who — from a long spectrum of targets — he is next going to pretend to bend to his Tantrum-Toddler Self's will?
I conclude that, with possible exception of China's leadership, Great Powers Humanity appears to be led by psychotically unrealistic loons. Passivity Putin perhaps included.
Dealing with these people, Putin again (arguably) marginally included, is like trying to talk rocks into exhibiting intelligent behavior.
