Watering babies we haven't killed yet — sour truth from Caitlin Johnstone

Yesterday, more propaganda from the Imperium

I watched a short video of a very young US Marine giving water to Afghani kids. Via a plastic bottle, at the Kabul airport.

The things we have our young combat troops do, without sufficient resources.

One would think . . .

. . . that a bestarred person at the Pentagon would have thought to supply the Kabul airport's environs with food, water and sanitary facilities. But even such civilian-equivalent Common Sense (apparently) could not be achieved by our talent-displaying Pentagon's highly paid elite.

One wonders, also

Why are all these masses of allegedly desperate folks randomly being allowed to accumulate at the Kabul airport?

How are they different than 'ordinary' — wanting a better life — migrants coming up through Mexico?

A simple word to the Taliban would have prevented such a harrowing public exposure of American callousness.

And did anyone really think that . . .

. . . bunches of Afghans could pick the losing American side for fun and profit (for 20 years) — and then not have to pay some nasty consequences, when the Taliban took over?

What kind of unrealistic, anti-historical, namby-pampy thinking is that?

If more Afghanis had accepted the fact that their choice of sides might eventually become fatal, perhaps the Taliban would not have won.

Or maybe the whole situation would have collapsed a lot sooner than it did.

We are being Propaganda-manipulated again

Caitlin Johnstone sounded a sourly accurate note about this Lamestream-Deep State bullshit:

That’s right. Invade a nation, kill hundreds of thousands of its inhabitants, stay for decades, accomplish nothing besides making war profiteers wealthy, drop everything and leave, then have your armed goon squad take PR photos with local infants so everyone thinks your military is awesome.

Ooh everyone look at this picture of a sweet kindly US stormtrooper cuddling one of the Afghan infants his coworkers happen to have not murdered yet.

The UN found that at least 26,025 children were killed or maimed in the fighting in Afghanistan just between the years 2005 and 2019.

[H]ow crazy is it that they spent trillions of dollars supposedly “nation building” in Afghanistan and basic water and plumbing needs are still an issue . . . . stop doing photo ops with babies and go dig some wells or something.

Just imagine if all this media firepower had gone into criticizing all the lies and devastation that went into creating this mess in the first place.

You can’t stop the killing, since killing is the glue which holds the unipolar world order in place, so you have your grunts take pictures with the babies of the nations you invaded instead.

The moral? — Deviousness is good?

I suppose we can hypothetically credit some clever Four Stars with the idea that:

they could combine their characteristically bulldog-brained strategic incompetence

with

the glowing propaganda opportunity provided by the bubbling mess that they had so complacently just created in Kabul.

Here's a bottle, kid. Don't know about food.

You can take a dump over by the wall.

Ain't freedom grand?
