Stupidity is at the American Oligarchy's forefront these days — consider the example of Verm Miller

Recall the following . . .
. . . only-in-California silliness?
Regarding the arrest of (foolishly suspected Trump assassination wannabe) Verm Miller:
A Nevada man with a shotgun, loaded handgun, ammunition and several fake passports in his vehicle was arrested at a security checkpoint outside Donald Trump's rally Saturday night in the Southern California desert, authorities said. He was released Saturday on $5,000 bail.
The suspect, identified as Vern Miller, a 49-year-old resident of Las Vegas, was driving an unregistered black SUV with a “homemade” license plate that was stopped by deputies assigned to the rally in Coachella, east of Los Angeles, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said at a Sunday news conference.
The driver claimed to be a journalist but it was unclear if he had the proper credentials.
Deputies noticed the interior of the vehicle was “in disarray” and a search uncovered the weapons and ammo, along with multiple passports and driver’s licenses with different names, Bianco said.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine, the department said in a statement.

Making Miller's credibility situation somewhat questionable
Miller (evidently) posted the following not-so-cogent rebuttal to the Government's claims:

Listening to Miller's version
I became impatient with his (borderline whiny) rambling, half-way through its 17:50 minute length.
'Naive nutcase' sums my tentatively held impression of him, in this instance.
That unfortunate impression is something that a competent attorney could have avoided, had Miller had the sense to have an attorney speak for him.
It is, after all, difficult to be memorably brief and to the point, when one is still seething from being (allegedly unjustifiably) arrested.
Miller's own (legally unwisely-delivered) account — which admits that he was not on his best form, due to blood sugar issues at the time of arrest— accentuates my ex-cop suspicions, regarding how this incident probably escalated from being what should have been a minor law enforcement issue into a national one.
Based on years of police experience — with out-of-the-norm-acting folks, as well as occasionally overreaction-prone law enforcement officers — I can roughly imagine how these circumstances escalated.
Metaphorically, like a confetti-cannon waiting to be triggered.
In short
Miller drives into famously anti-gun California (from neighboring Nevada) with allegedly loaded guns in his vehicle.
Voluntarily tells authorities — who are working at a twice previously-targeted Trump political rally — that he has firearms with him.
And then, Miller expects everything to go casually?
'Optimistically imbecilic' is the only applicable descriptive phrase.
This is not to say that Miller is necessarily wrong in thinking that the arresting officer — who Miller says he overheard calling him a 'maggot' and 'one of those dumb Trump people' (video at 10:23) — was acting outside the law's scope.
The moral? — Have you noticed that narcissism's prima donna dumbasses . . .
. . . and their continual distortions and mendacities capture unwarranted national attention at every turn?
Flamboyantly delivered inanities characterize both Public and Government sides.
We have become, predominantly, a nation comprised of self-important imbecile-morons. Governed by the same.
Consider how delighted the nation's controlling Oligarchs must be, when reflecting upon how easily both these assemblages of dopes can be manipulated to the Plutocratic Masters' benefit.
The US has devolved itself into a maniacally vicious clown show.
Admittedly more favorably, alternative media make this disaster more entertaining than it would otherwise be.
At least, there's that.
