US is dang good at creating militaristic dystopias
For instance:
Ghost Robotics and SWORD International have teamed up to create a rifle-toting "robot dog." Called the Special Purpose Unmanned Rifle, or SPUR, the system adds a 6.5mm Creedmoor rifle from SWORD to one of Ghost Robotics' quadrupedal unmanned ground vehicles, or Q-UGVs.
The SPUR made its debut on the show floor at the Association of the U.S. Army's main annual convention in Washington, D.C., which opened yesterday.

The Creedmoor 6.5 is a currently fashionable caliber. Gun folk will be delighted at this new use for the round.
I can imagine that . . .
. . .the Biden administration is already at work planning the truck fleets that will be necessary to deliver these Robo Creedmoores to neighborhoods where plentiful supplies of Trump supporters live.
Put caterpillar treads on the 'dogs', and we could clean up American farm country, too.
Nothing like practice — under realistic conditions, you know — to improve robotics.
The moral? — Perhaps history will record that . . .
. . . a plague of dogs ate the populist right wing in America.
Kind'a like Biblical locusts. But so obviously better.
