Metaphor says it all — US uses Chinese made drones to see its way forward

A figurative summation of . . .

. . .  the United States' pee-piddling future. We need Chinese drones to see our way forward:

Two drone models made by China’s largest manufacturer have been cleared for use by a Pentagon audit, according to a report summary obtained by The Hill.

An analysis of the two Da Jiang Innovations (DJI) drones built for government use found “no malicious code or intent” and are “recommended for use by government entities and forces working with US services,” the summary said.

Why are we using Chinese drones?

'Cause we can't make them ourselves.

The Great American Plutocracy sent the core of US manufacturing overseas long ago.

Some people in Congress want to address this economic lapse

They've come up with the hysterically named "American Security Drone Act".

The pinpoint ludicrousness of that microscopic assault against having disempowered the entirety of American Labor strikes me as indicatively funny.

The moral? — A nation that intentionally got rid of most of its manufacturing base . . .

. . . and now wants to microscopically fix that — one specific product at a time, via one implementing statute each — has already lost the war.

China's panda is laughing.
