Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot — in her much paraded 'black woman' wisdom — recently announced that Racism is the cause of violent Chicago's woes:

Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Thursday declared systemic racism a public health crisis in Chicago, saying disparities in access to effective and affordable health care, the impact of racism on the mental health of people of color, and the subsequent difference in life expectancy “is literally killing us.”

“At almost every point in our city’s history, sadly, racism has taken a devastating toll on the health and well-being of our residents of color, and particularly those who are Black,” Lightfoot said.

“Without formally acknowledging this history and reality, and the continuing impact of that infamous legacy, looking at the root causes of today’s challenges, we will never be able to move forward as a city and fully provide our communities with the resources that we need to live happy, vibrant, and fulfilled lives.”

The most visible of this shortened life span involves a daily toll of Chicago 'black' people killing other 'black' people. With Lightfoot and her cronies being unwilling or unable to do anything about it.

Mayor Lightfoot's characteristic political retreat from the obvious problem is to turn it into a non-obviously created one, simply by asserting that to be the case.

Deception is her cudgel. Just as it is with most forms of American governance.

We see in this Chicago example how purported 'systemic' American racism is magically responsible for Chicago's upwelling of a scumbag subculture. That subculture's criminal perpetrators just happening to be comprised of 'blacks' — who are mainly killing other 'black' people.

The same phenomenon is pretty much true all over the country.

So why is virtually everyone ignoring that fact?

'Cause it's easier to emulate Lori Lightfoot — and blame someone else — than it is to take responsibility for oneself — while caught up in Life's complicated (and often untraceable) swirl of causations.

Not to interrupt this prevailing trend of American dopiness . . .

New York City has fallen to this same empty-skulled crew of aggressively minded civilization-shatterers:

Business owners and residents in New York City are expressing fury at the revelation that prosecutors have dropped looing and rioting charges against hundreds arrested during chaos that swept the city last summer.

After 603 were arrested in Manhattan and the Bronx during the most intense days of looting last June, 295 of the cases have been dropped completely, according to NYPD data reported by WNBC-TV on Friday.

Now Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr and Bronx DA Darcel D. Clark are facing tough questions about why hundreds walked free after the looting rampage caused an estimated tens of millions in damages.

Vance and Clark declined interview requests from WNBC, but a source close to the DA's office said that prosecutors were too overwhelmed to carry forth the looting cases, with a backlog of cases after the pandemic shut courts.

Vance's office has been busy preparing a criminal case against Donald Trump, said to center on allegations of tax, loan and insurance fraud at the Trump Organization.

The DA insider also said that in some cases, there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute the looters.

NYPD investigators are privately furious that prosecutors are letting the looting cases drop, after cops spent countless hours on a task force helping assemble evidence to make the cases stick.

Let's get real — (wouldn't that be novel?)

What is happening across the country is that a criminal, drug-using and educational drop-out subculture — appearing from among a much larger pool (of American foundation-constituting) 'black' folks — has elevated career felons to martyr and sainthood status.

This celestial uplift occurring with academia's and the Democratic Party's full approval and exceptionally vigorous pushing.

I am . . .

. . . having trouble coming up with a surer way to destroy a sensibly run, purportedly multicultural society.

If career criminals, drug addicts and arrest resisters — meaning societally useless dirtbags — are American culture's new saints and must-be-coddled victims — who are the non-criminal, non-predating, multi-colored rest of us?

The moral? — If you want to see Decency's eventual backlash . . .

. . . most probably to be comprised of all skin colors, keep pushing this Critical Race Theory nonsense.

'Black' Professors Glenn Loury and John McWhorter recently addressed the topic. McWhorter's sense of Wokeness's moral and intellectual overreach is that:

Reflectiveness is considered irrelevant because they've got the answers . . . . It is this Kantian conclusiveness.

And it seems like this world that I'm gonna have to live in — and you're gonna have to live in — is being taken over by people who studiously refuse to reflect. And are passing that off as a higher wisdom.

And that is the answer . . . to why someone like me is so obsessed with the Hyper Woke.

Every time I turn a corner, there's this person who is studiously non-reflective and telling me that it is wrong of me to reflect — and [that person] is being elevated by the powers that be in their non-reflectiveness, as [if representing] where things are supposed to go.

If the whole society is going with "Let's be unreflective about these issues regarding race." And if you are of your race, and you're being reflective about anything other than how much you hate white people, [then] there's something wrong with you.

That's the sort of thing that puts you [meaning McWhorter and presumably Loury] on a dedicated crusade against a way of thinking.

I don't want the society to be taken over by Dumb.

I share McWhorter's perspective.

Critical Race Theory-pushing people are fundamentally stupid. And because they are uninsightful — and determined to remain so — they are dangerously destructive.

Once cannot model respect (not to mention love) by teaching hate, especially when that hate has little genuine substantive basis.

Nor can one separate strands of causation, responsibility and proposed correction — by taking unexamined blanket views of the elements purportedly involved.

McWhorter's word, dumb, is aptly chosen. We are being drowned in tide of unrepentantly aggressive stupidity.

There is is little more dangerous to a culture's success and survival, than the 'thinking' and actions of self-righteous, power-wielding Airheads.

Resist.
