Lapdog Germany shoots its own lapdog feet — regarding Nord Stream 2

Pathetic Germany licks its US master's pup-beating hand
A few days ago, I wrote about the reality-based wisdom of being (or becoming) a wolf. And thereby, happily devouring humanity's all-too-plentiful supply of dumbass sheep.
At the time, I used Pretty Boy Trudeau's tyrannical Canada as an example.
But today, Germany serves just as well. And in an even more illustratively self-destructive way.
To demonstrate — let's talk Nord Stream 2 and Ukraine
From Al Jazeera:
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz says his government has taken steps to halt the approval process for the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline from Russia over the crisis in Ukraine.
Speaking to reporters in Berlin on Tuesday, Scholz said he had asked the economy ministry “to withdraw the report on security of supply with our federal networks agency”, calling this “the first step to make sure the pipeline cannot be certified at this point”.
“Without certification the Nord Stream 2 can’t operate,” he added.
“We will reassess the situation that has evolved over the past few days. It’s important to launch new sanctions now to prevent an escalation and a disaster.”

Contemplate how Germany's mewling behavior came to occur
First, Germany's high winter heating fuel prices gouge its citizens' pockets.
Second, Nord Stream 2 — which bypasses oligarchically chaotic, corrupt and neo-Nazi Ukraine to more reliably and cheaply supply Germany with Russian natural gas — was intended to lower German energy costs and protect German citizens' bank accounts.
Third, the United States — a nation that is perpetually unhappy, when any other nation pursues its own goals (no matter how trivial those might be) — decided that Germany's concern about heating costs would potentially interrupt our own Robber Barons' flow of energy dollars.
Therefore fourth, the Great American Ukraine Propaganda Initiative was launched.
Its mission was to force Germany into cutting off its own feet via cancelling the Nord Stream 2 energy connection and returning Germany to its previous yap-a-doodle US-controlled status:
NATO was conceived, from the outset, as a means of Anglo-American control over Europe and more precisely for keeping Germany ‘down’, and Russia ‘out’ . . . .
Lord Hastings (Lionel Ismay), NATO’s first Secretary General, famously said that NATO was created to “keep the Soviet Union out, the Americans in, and the Germans down”.
This mindset lingers on, but the formula has acquired today a greater import, and a new twist:
To keep Germany ‘down and price uncompetitive’ versus U.S. goods;
to keep Russia ‘out’ from being Europe’s source of cheap energy;
and to keep China ‘fenced out’ from EU–U.S. trade.
The aim is to contain Europe firmly within America’s narrowly defined economic orbit and compelled to forgo the benefits of Chinese and Russian technology, finance and trade – thus helping towards achieving the aim of barricading China within its borders.

Here is how the US-initiated Ukraine plot worked
It is (however eventually self-destructive) quite clever:
The strategy has involved maneuvering Russia into having to make a choice between two scenarios, both of which have bad consequences.
The choices are these: (1) Russia does not invade Ukraine, in which case the U.S.-controlled NATO absorbs Ukraine, which means U.S. bases, missiles, tanks, and troops permanently situated on Russia’s borders;
or
(2) Russia invades Ukraine and takes over the reins of government, in which case U.S. officials portray Russia as a horrific aggressor that now threatens the rest of Europe, the United States, and all mankind.

In summary
The core goals of the United States' anti-Russian (Ukraine) propaganda were to force Germany to:
(a) renounce its own economic self-interest
and to
(b) cancel the Nord Stream 2 project agreement with those evil Russians.
Notice that
Given that the US and NATO have been incessantly encroaching on Russia's boundaries — via offensively placing weapons ever closer to the Federation — the argument about Russian evility has to drown out geopolitical common sense.
Ergo, my previous comments about the ignorant and intellectually lazy sheep that American leadership sells its history-contradicting stories to.
Only the ignorantly air-headed would ever buy the United States' inverted tale about 'who did what to whom' in this particular (Ukrainian) matter.
But of course, most of us are indeed wooly-headed critters. So, we did and still do.
Propaganda-enslaved Germany, for its part, happily chases its US-approved (already gnawed) bone.
While rejecting the meat-covered one that it could have provided itself, at a notably lesser price, from Russia. With no genuinely negative geopolitical consequences to pay for that agreement.
Thus, my observation that
Manipulated airheads are everywhere.
No place for sane folks to stand, without being incessantly and repetitively mauled by tides of drooling stupidities.
With regard to American short-sightedness
What do you think is going to happen, when:
our allies are suffering from economic self-deprivation
(at our nitwitted command)
and
the United States' incessant economic sanctioning
of everything that moves
has forced Russia, China
and everyone else with a lick of common sense
to get rid of US dollars
and abandon the US-controlled financial system?
The moral? — Eat sheep?
Evolution has declared them too silly and too passive, to continue to exist.
The next foreseeable Darwinian culling will (arguably) take place among short-sighted wolves.
Those guys are only just bright enough to get themselves into species-terminating trouble.
Foolishly aimed malevolence usually has an eventual price. Consider, in demonstration, the comparatively rapid evolution of deadly viruses into becoming less terminal.
American leadership could (but will not) learn a lot from some brainless viruses. Instead, we abandon even the wisdom of parasites.
Alas and alack.
