Consider Israel's latest terror attack on humanity

At least 12 people have been killed, and 2,750 have been wounded in Lebanon after pagers used by Hezbollah members exploded at the same time in a coordinated Israeli attack. Pagers also exploded in Syria, where unconfirmed reports say at least 14 people were wounded.

At least two children were killed in the attack in Lebanon: an eight-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy. Among the wounded was Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon, who suffered a “superficial injury,” according to Iranian media. At least 300 of those injured are in critical condition.

US officials later told The New York Times that Israel was responsible for the attack and planted explosives and a detonator switch in the pagers.

Middle East Eye described the aftermath:

People covered in blood were seen staggering on the streets of Beirut immediately after the blasts, attended by passers-by.

Ambulances rushed the victims to the capital's hospitals, though several of them quickly reached capacity.

In Beirut's southern suburbs, an area commonly known as Dahiyeh where many Hezbollah supporters and members live, emergency medical tents were erected to treat patients.

Outside the Rafic Hariri University Hospital in southern Beirut, medical staff placed emergency beds outside the entrance to receive the wounded as quickly as possible.

Members of the public also gathered at hospitals, responding to calls for blood donations.

If Hezbollah had detonated a bunch of devices held by Israeli forces in public spaces without knowing who was near them when they went off, every paper in the western world would have called it a terror attack.
