Comparative economics — Larry Johnson's observation about the Russo-Ukrainian War

Introduction
For many years, I have remarked about two things:
First, the United States and NATO would not (and could not) win a war on the Russian or Chinese peripheries.
Second, that for decades, the United States has grossly weakened its own national security — and its citizens' material wellbeing — by outsourcing the most important cores of our manufacturing, mining and refining sectors.
Currently proving those points is . . .
. . . the Russo-Ukrainian War. Which, in characteristic manner, the United States stupidly provoked to no geopolitically defensible strategic purpose. Other than enriching America's military industrial complex at Humanity's expense.
Pertinent to the Ukrainian situation is . . .
. . . Larry Johnson's recent observation that:
Russia builds it own planes, rockets, space ships and tanks.
Putin did not outsource critical industry to China or Mexico.
Reality will remind the United States and its crazy European allies that Russia is the only superpower with a self-sufficient economy.
The economy of Russia is not dependent on having a Russian version of Rodeo Drive filled with overpriced baubles.

The moral? — Morally stupid people mainly achieve destruction and sad outcomes
Remaining too nastily airheaded to acknowledge this reality — the Biden administration's Deep State handlers are going to arm the Nazi-controlled and perennially lying Ukrainian government with a token number of missiles that can hit Russian soil:
U.S. President Joe Biden said Wednesday the United States is providing Ukraine with a $700 million package of “more advanced rocket systems and munitions” as the Russian invasion enters its fourth month, but White House officials say Ukraine has vowed not to fire those rockets into Russian territory.
“This new package will arm them with new capabilities and advanced weaponry, including HIMARS with battlefield munitions, to defend their territory from Russian advances,” Biden said in a Wednesday statement.
“We will continue to lead the world in providing historic assistance to support Ukraine’s fight for freedom.” Biden used the acronym for High Mobility Artillery Rocket System.

The fact that the number of this missiles is too minimal to reverse the outcome of the war does not obviate the point that — it will take only one attacked Russia village (or city) to provoke legitimate Russian retaliation against NATO and the United States.
Asking what American leadership is thinking arguably misses the point. The issue is that American leadership has proven itself to be incapable of thinking.
US leaders are, across-the-board, incompetent at forecasting the easily foreseeable results of their own, usually malevolently destructive acts.
Broadly speaking, History and life experience indicate that malicious stupidity kills.
And the supposed Social Contract (in an alleged democracy) does not include serial displays of malicious brainlessness in Government as one its foundational supports.
How did governance go so wrong in the United States?
And who will pay that critical error's price?
