Clever use of law — Texas attorney general Ken Paxton takes on the NCAA for its gender-blind 'deceptive trade practices'

I doubt that this lawsuit will go anywhere . . .

. . . given the United States' fanatical adherence to national self-destruction.

However, I do credit Texas attorney general Ken Paxton for creatively trying to put a stop to some of delusional insanity that is swallowing us up:

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) on Dec. 22 for allegedly misleading sportgoers into believing they were watching a competition between players of one gender.

“The NCAA is intentionally and knowingly jeopardizing the safety and wellbeing of women by deceptively changing women’s competitions into co-ed competitions,” Paxton said in a statement on Sunday.

“When people watch a women’s volleyball game, for example, they expect to see women playing against other women—not biological males pretending to be something they are not. Radical ‘gender theory’ has no place in college sports.”

Paxton argued in the lawsuit that the NCAA’s practice of allowing biological men who identify as women to play in women’s sports violates the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, which protects consumers from scams.

“When female athletes are forced to compete against men in women’s sports, they are deprived of titles, records, medals, scholarships, and opportunities to win; opportunities to participate in a fair and safe environment; and the ancillary benefits that sports participation provides,” he said in the lawsuit.

“Consumers do not purchase goods and services associated with women’s sporting events to watch men steal medals and records from female programs.”

The moral? — Imagine a society so self-destructively dumb . . .

. . . that it allows biological basics to be steam-rolled by aggressive airheads. Stupidity and delusion come no barer.

A transgender man, 'pretending' to be a woman, does not have a human right to extinguish the human rights that belong to hormonally normal women as a matter of birth.

Some minorities are so 'minority' that Good of the Whole requires them to carry their burdens alone.

I do not see anyone, for example, arguing that people sadly born with missing or deformed limbs (or minds) should be roboticized, so that — via mechanical and electrical engineering means — they can athletically out-compete those who are 'normally' born.

We who come into existence toward the tapering ends of the Gaussian 'Normal' Distribution, usually just have to suck this form of 'inequitable unfairness' up.

And most of us — who are indeed trapped in the outlying areas of the curve — recognize this fact, without trying to turn society upside-down in order to allow our minority-minorityness to extinguish the rights and accomplishments of the huge majority.

If men, who transgendered themselves into being purported sports-women, want to compete in athletics, why not create a league of their own?

That they have not, is — arguably — indicative of the intellectual and moral quality of their thinking.
