USA's transition into . . .
. . . becoming the Devil — (himself, herself, or non-gender-specific-nothing self) — is complete:
President Joe Biden ordered airstrikes Thursday evening against sites in Syria being used by Iranian-backed militant groups in the eastern portion of the war-torn nation, according to the Pentagon. [See here.]
“The operation sends an unambiguous message: President Biden will act to protect American and Coalition personnel,” [John Kirby, Pentagon spokesperson] said.
“At the same time, we have acted in a deliberate manner that aims to de-escalate the overall situation in both eastern Syria and Iraq.”

So . . .
When I explode you into — bloody charred bits of your former functioning life — and you're deader than Permian basalt — that's "de-escalation" — in American New-Speak.
The moral? — Evil is detected in both what it says and does
US policies qualify on both counts.
We brag about squashing Life for its own good.
It is a curious mentality. Inarguably, an abortion of any sort of rationally defensible humane purpose.
A nation of preponderantly murdering idolaters, maybe?
