Some of 'these' four starred people are stupider than vacuum

I noticed the following epic idiocy — about the alleged need to intervene in Ethiopia's civil war — from retired Admiral James Stavridis.

The following is extracted from his Bloomberg op ed, entitled "Ethiopia’s Civil War Is a Problem U.S. Troops Can Help Solve".

My italicized observations (scattered among Stavridis' words) are contained inside brackets:

Ethiopia matters because of its size and potential. It occupies a huge landmass — more than 1.5 times the size of Texas — in the heart of the Horn of Africa. While landlocked, it is the economic and political center of the strategically important northeast coast of Africa. Addis Ababa is the diplomatic capital of Africa . . . .

[How's that for addressing nothing genuinely strategic — but with lots of supposedly impressive generalities that lack any substance at all?

According to Stavridis, Ethiopia matters because it is bigger than Texas, landlocked and has an economy that matters to the regional northeast coast of Africa.

Plus, lots of diplomats go there.]

Second, Ethiopia is central to overall politics and security on the continent.

"Instability in Ethiopia will impact myriad U.S. interests in the region and beyond — from counterterrorism and trade to countering China and promoting democracy.” [quoting former US ambassador to the African Union, Reuben Brigity]

[In other words, the gargantuan instability that the US itself created by foolishly and unsuccessfully intervening in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Yemen — pales when it is compared to what Ethiopians are doing in their own country — and therefore requires that the US introduce yet another 'surge' of American-caused, constantly escalating chaos.]

Third, we are seeing a huge humanitarian crisis unfolding.

[Oh my, how very unusual is that? Let us man the American cannons in response — generating still more refugees to aggravate already existing border crises.]

Finally, there is a large, activist Ethiopian population in the U.S.; many of those immigrants remain closely connected with family and friends in their homeland. Hence the large demonstrations lately in the Washington metropolitan area, which hosts an Ethiopian population estimated at 75,000 to 200,000 people.

[So, because some Ethiopians live in the United States — we should send our Armed Forces to where they came from?]

Sending troops to East Africa may not play well in U.S. domestic politics. But three decades ago, the world stood by and watched a brutal civil war unfold in the small African nation of Rwanda. That was shameful.

[By Stavridis' implication — America rules the world. And therefore, every nation's self-inflicted wounds are ours to deal with.]

That's it

That's the entirety of Stavridis' airily justified call for US military intervention in Ethiopia.

His reasoning (if it can be called that) is un-thought-out, historically and culturally ignorant bullshit — that is so typical of the de facto morons, who make it to four star military rank in the United States.

In effect, former admiral Stavridis — and the entirety of his appallingly murderous and incompetent ilk — throw out some emotion-eliciting buzzwords. Usually accompanied by incomprehensible military acronyms that further cover the idiocy of whatever they are saying. Followed up with closing appeals to our alleged American humanity.

That diarrheal vomit is (almost always) produced in the name of starting yet another quasi-perpetual war that:

strategically goes nowhere beneficial

kills lots of people

and

further aggravates the tumult that engulfs so much of the world.

The moral? — These uniformed American militarists are far worse than leprotic syphilis

Take their penises away.

Spank them with those mentally flaccid organs.

Make them go home to mommy.

Hopefully never to be seen in the World of Light again.
