Ain't rampaging nihilism grand?

Today, let's start with the true cause of the Russo-Ukrainian War.

Meaning the United States' roughly 77 year effort to fund anti-Russian neo-Nazis in Ukraine. That penultimately culminating in the US-prompted (literally Nazi-fueled) coup d'etat in 2014.

And now, after successfully provoking the current Russo-Ukrainian War

The United States is pledging itself to expand that conflict into World War 3:

On Friday morning, the Washington Post reported that Russia has submitted a formal diplomatic note, protesting the US transfer of billions of dollars in military hardware to Ukraine, and raising the prospect of Russian retaliation against US/NATO arms shipments.

Russia’s diplomatic note accused the United States of “adding fuel” to the conflict and warned of “unpredictable consequences.”

It said, “We call on the United States and its allies to stop the irresponsible militarization of Ukraine, which implies unpredictable consequences for regional and international security.”

Responding to these statements, US State Department spokesperson Ned Price told CNN, “The Russians have said some things privately, they have said some things publicly; nothing will dissuade us from the strategy that we’ve embarked on.”

Price said that if Russia is concerned that the White House is “providing billions of dollars worth of security assistance to our Ukrainian partners … then we’re guilty as charged.”

Where, evidently, lying and killing for profit is part of the heavenly game:

Since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine, cable news networks have routinely called on defense officials-turned-consultants to offer analysis and help the American public make sense of the crisis.

Often, these analysts have used their TV time to call for greater U.S. involvement and bolder moves that could ratchet up tensions between two nuclear-armed superpowers.

The networks have consistently failed to disclose these analysts’ day jobs, describing them instead by only their former high-ranking military or government roles — leaving viewers in the dark about the analysts’ financial ties to defense contractors that stand to profit from increased or prolonged conflict.

During its Ukraine coverage, MSNBC even failed to include disclosures when the network invited on former Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, who serves on the board of directors at Lockheed Martin, the world’s biggest defense contractor.

Corporate media’s lack of transparency about these consultants is deeply troubling, said Craig Holman, government affairs lobbyist for Public Citizen.

The article goes on to name some of those Military Industrial Complex parasites. As well as the corporate media that hide their toxically avaricious noxiousness.

In short, according to American political culture

Why be morally and strategically sensible, when indulging in violence-producing provocation is so much fun?

In addition to targeting Russia, American warmongering is explicitly aiming at China. As well as any other nation upstart enough to challenge American domination.

For instance, American legislators, who have no legitimate legislative business in Taiwan — given that the American Congress has completely abandoned the Constitutional principle which mandates that all wars must be declared by that body — went there anyway.

The People's Republic of China saw this visit for the slap in the face that it was.

No doubt recalling past humiliations by the Great White West, China responded this way:

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command on Friday organized multi-services and arms, dispatching forces including destroyers, frigates, bombers and fighters, and conducted joint combat alert patrols and drills including maritime assault, in the forefront of the East China Sea and in waters and aerial areas around the island of Taiwan, when a group of US lawmakers were visiting the island.

Chinese mainland experts said the pointed military operation not only serves as a warning to US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who could still visit Taiwan after "postponing" her travel due to COVID-19 infection, but also goes beyond deterrence by preparing for potential, real actions that would resolve the Taiwan question once and for all when necessary.

The operation targets the US' recent wrong signals on the Taiwan question, as the US' wicked tactics are totally useless and dangerous, Senior Colonel Shi Yi, spokesperson for the PLA Eastern Theater Command, said on Friday in a press release.

In digesting the above statement, recall that the Global Times is a direct conduit of Chinese leadership's thinking.

Furthermore — and approximately meanwhile

Dementia Joe Biden was busy reminding India of its own 19th and 20th century subjugation by imperially inclined 'white' robbers:

President Joe Biden told Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi that buying more oil from Russia was not in India's interest and could hamper the U.S. response to the war in Ukraine, U.S. officials said.

[H]e told Modi [that] India's position in the world would not be enhanced by relying on Russian energy sources, U.S. officials said.

"The president conveyed very clearly that it is not in their interest to increase that," said White House spokesperson Jen Psaki.

The United States (via its dementia-laden Puppet Guy) was telling the second most populated country (and arguably the historically most spiritually attuned) in the world what was in its "best interest".

Do any among 'We the American People' recognize how insulting such a statement would be, coming from anyone, much less an American head of state?

The moral? — US leadership is, certifiably, violently insane

World War 3 is literally on the very near horizon.

Remember in contemplating this prospect, that Russia and China do not bluff. Evidently, America wants to fight a war on at least two fronts. And potentially, against three competent major militaries.

As a once-historian, this is the first time that I am aware of super-hegemon deliberately constructing its own demise. As well as that of millions and millions of other peoples.

There is no rational moral or strategic defense to fomenting such a conflagration.

This is Pure Evil in full stride.

Sensible and good-hearted Americans need to toss aside their voluntarily accepted Exceptional Us brainwashing and start thinking about the realities involved in simply surviving.

While watching it, recall that Ukraine's Nazi-inspired Azov Battalion — apparently with the willing help of non-Azov Ukrainian military troops — killed 14,000 Russian-heritage people in Ukraine's break-away Donetsk and Luhansk republics— after the 2014 US-sponsored (neo-Nazi-supporting) coup d'etat.

Is this Ukrainian neo-Nazi side really the one that we want to be on?

Even unto nuclear fire?

This is not a war that traditionally decently inclined American patriots can support starting. It is certainly not one that genuine Christians can, in Christ's name, get behind.

If religion has any meaning at all, it is in guiding us how to recognize and reject soul-destroying temptations.
