Recall from May 2022 . . .

. . . when the Democratic Party's Biden administration initiated a Disinformation Governance Board under the Department of Homeland Security?

Public reaction was swift and negative, particularly in the news media and among Republican pundits and civil liberties advocates.

Some portrayed the board as an Orwellian tool that could infringe on privacy and free speech rights.

They likened it to the fictional “Ministry of Truth,” a propaganda machine that controlled information for Oceania citizens in George Orwell’s dystopian book, “1984.”

The blowback caused the agency to scrap the board, with an agency oversight council stating there was no need for it.

Now, in December 2025 . . .

. . . the Republican prong of the Uni-Party is doing virtually the same thing.

But without even bothering to pretend that the alleged disinformation is coming from abroad:

The White House is asking for help from the American people to identify what it calls biased reporting against President Trump’s administration by mainstream media outlets.

“The White House recently launched a Media Bias Portal as a service to truth and transparency,” the West Wing wrote in a communication sent to reporters on Tuesday.

“Its purpose is to combat the baseless lies, purposely omitted context, and outright left-wing lunacy of the Fake News Media — a tall task that demands the help of everyone who believes in facts and accuracy over Fake News.”

Setting up a new website soliciting tips from the public, the White House said “anyone can submit biased or undeniably false articles, and valid submissions will be used to keep the Media Bias Portal updated.”

“The days of the Fake News Media controlling the narrative with lies, fake anonymous sources, and willful bias are over,” the message continued.

“If the legacy media won’t honor their responsibility to accurately inform the public, we know the American people will.”

A visit to the White House “Media Offenders” page shows the administration attacking top outlets like CBS News, The Washington Post and CNN over their coverage of the president and listing stories or segments the West Wing alleges are untrue, lacking context or overly critical of the president.

The moral? — The United States is turning completely fascist

If you are a young — but old fashioned — American patriot, look forward to eventually spending the rest of your life in reeducation and death camps.
