United States to ban American government officials — from attending Beijing's Winter Olympics — "Take that, Mr. Panda!"

Could we look impotently stupider?

Quaff this latest drink of American-sponsored delight:

President Joe Biden is set to announce a diplomatic boycott of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing sometime this week amid ongoing criticism over the country’s human rights abuses, according to multiple reports.

The move will mean no American government officials will be in attendance during the games, although athletes will be allowed to compete as normal, CNN first reported.

Calls for some sort of diplomatic retaliation have only grown in recent months, with lawmakers from both parties asking Biden to hold China accountable for its treatment of Uyghur Muslims and a crackdown on free speech in Hong Kong.

The Great American Propaganda Show goes on the road

The 'mighty' US is splendiferously — and on Uyghur Muslims' alleged behalf — going to:

punish its own government employees by banning them from China's Winter Olympics

and

China is (supposedly) going to care.

This stunt ranks, in its absurd insignificance, with Pelosi-Schumer Democrats kneeling with Kente cloth scarves in June 2020.

This is exactly the sort of thing . . .

. . . that a righteously flaccid (but constantly warmongering) nation might predictably do, after withdrawing from its ineffectually deadly war in Afghanistan by:

(a) reportedly leaving thousands of Americans behind,

while simultaneously

(b) bringing 'tons' of unvetted Afghanis into the United States

and

(c) allowing terrorists to blow up lots of people (including 13 US troops) at the Kabul Airport —

those three negatives occurring exclusively because

we were too lazy, too stupid

or just too vacuously minded

to plan ahead.

Does the phrase . . .

. . .  "Paper Tiger" ring a bell, for y'all elderly folk?

Diplomatically speaking, it is one thing to be one.

Another, to prove it.

More capably led nations would avoid displaying their lack of influence by restraining themselves from indulging in ineffectual 'show' bullying.

The moral? — 'Decline' is written in every stroke of Dementia Joe's pissant pen

Chuckle with resignation.

And notice that the only Muslims that 'we' care about are the Uyghurs. Whom we do not know. Have never met. And most of us could not point to on a map.

That should tell you something about the gargantuan nature of American Government's blowharding hypocrisy.
