US Intelligence baselessly trots out the usual suspects — for alleged 2020 election interference

America's tiresomely stupid "intelligence" apparatus

US spymasters never tire of evidence-free brainwashing the American public.

Below are some illustrating quotes, taken the National Intelligence Council's Foreign Threats to the 2020 US Federal Elections.

Notice at the outset that . . .

. . . should you click on the above URL link — the Council's words cannot be electronically copied for reproduction.

The same is true of links to the report produced by some mainstream news sources. See CNN (here) for example.

How convenient:

Lie, then make the lie difficult to fully reproduce in its elaborately concocted, fulsome flavor.

Aren't these Gray Connivers an admirable lot?

Integrity from every orifice.

On the other hand — wheels within wheels . . .

The Washington Post made the Report copyable.

That stoutly warmongering and favorite Establishment propagandizer managed to reproduce a transmissible copy for us to share Happy Intelligence's lies.

Brainwashing privilege, no doubt, is accorded the prominent media sources that are most consistently support America's War Machine.

A well-connected reporter could have fun with this widely observable discrepancy.

Indicting the mind-controlling Establishment with its own horseshit

My comments in bracketed italics:

We assess that Russian President Putin authorized, and a range of Russian government organizations conducted, influence operations aimed at denigrating President Biden's candidacy and the Democratic Party, supporting former President Trump, undermining public confidence in the electoral process, and exacerbating sociopolitical divisions in the US. [Report, page 2]

[American intelligence would have no way of knowing what Putin did, or did not, authorize. If the US actually had a mole that high up in Russia's political infrastructure, it would not dare publicize the fact.]

We assess that Russia's intelligence services, Ukraine-linked individuals with ties to Russian intelligence and their networks, and Russian state media, trolls, and online proxies engaged in activities targeting the 2020 US presidential election. [Report, page 2]

[Now, there's a happy grab-bag of folk.

One gets the impression that US Intelligence's most creative minds eagerly produced some descriptive nouns to fill out their evidence-free claims.]

Throughout the election cycle, Russia's online influence actors sought to affect US public perceptions of the candidates, as well as advance Moscow's longstanding goals of undermining confidence in US election processes and increasing sociopolitical divisions among the American people. [Report, page 3]

[Certainly — muh fellow 'Muhrikans — fostering divisions among the American People could not possibly have occurred as a result of Democratic and Republic Party fractionizations of a once reasonably solid sense of American cultural oneness.

The Russians did it, for sure.

Even if we go all the way back to our American Civil War, I am sure — aren't you? — that we would find passion-dividing Russians hiding in (and plotting from) the battle bushes.

Can't trust those guys not to be doing the enslaving Devil's Work at every turn, no matter the century.]

Unlike in 2016, we did not see persistent Russian cyber efforts to gain access to election infrastructure.

[That's a past allegation for which proof has never been presented.

Notice that a lack of evidence never stops our Gray People from repeating previous concocted stories. That 2016 example having been, unlawfully and dishonorably, aimed at coup d'étating President Trump.]

We assess with high confidence that Iran carried out an influence campaign during the 2020 US election season intended to undercut the reelection prospects of former President Trump and to further its longstanding objectives of exacerbating divisions in the US, creating confusion, and undermining the

legitimacy of US elections and institutions.

We did not identify Iran engaging in any election interference activities, as defined in this assessment. Tehran's efforts were aimed at denigrating former President Trump, not actively promoting his rivals. We assess that Tehran designed its campaign to attempt to influence US policy toward Iran, distract US leaders with domestic issues, and to amplify messages sympathetic to the Iranian regime. [Report, page 5]

[Truly shocking that Iran might wish to influence US policy in less 'murder-Iran'-ish directions. And (imagine!) this alleged counter-influencing coming without Iran actually "engaging in any election interference activities".

Oh my gosh, such inadequately restrained gall on their parts. We should hammer them with something very heavy. Maybe Israel can help us.]

We assess that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei probably authorized Iran's influence campaign and that it was a whole of government effort, judging from the involvement of multiple Iranian Government elements. [Report, page 6]

[As with Putin, the US has no way of knowing what Khamenei did or did not do.

Nor do we know which segments of Iranian government did what — and how — nor if they did anything at all.

These Intelligence Report statements are handwaving, air-only bullshit.]

We assess that a range of additional foreign actors — including Lebanese Hizballah, Cuba, and Venezuela — took some steps to attempt to influence the election.

[Of all the nations and resistance groups in the world — including those with the most legitimate reasons for wanting to topple The Great Satan — why not pick on those weakest ones that the United States itself has turned into alleged enemies?

You know, the ones that 'everyone' knows have access to unspeakable subtleties of mind manipulation and culture-changing influencing ability.

Hezbollah, especially.

My gosh, those Islamist folks pose a sophisticated menace to world peace and happiness. Such a good thing that America's Gray People are on the job.]

We assess Cuba sought to undermine former President Trump's electoral prospects by pushing anti-Republican and pro-Democrat narratives to the Latin American community. [Report, page 8]

[How dare 'those' Cubans do such a thing?

After centuries of US exploitation and repression of Central and South America publics, the Cubans now dare to try to persuade their Hemispheric peers that the US might not be their friend?

Surely, American-instigated nuclear war on Cuba, as well as those 'other' guys, is fully justified.]

The moral? — American 'intelligence' babble is always vicious . . .

. . . and almost always completely lacking in evidence in its support.

And yet the Gray People continue successfully manipulating American minds.

That says something about their skills, or the aggressive nature of the Public's gullibility.

As Caitlin Johnstone wrote — after pointing out that the US interferes in foreign elections more often and more massively than any other nation:

This continually recycled story is so unbelievably tedious.

“Oh noes, we’ve been attacked in an invisible way by an enemy we were already preparing to slam with economic sanctions and new cold war escalations! Believe us or you’re a conspiracy theorist!”

Those who control the dominant narratives will keep adjusting them as they see fit to advance whatever pre-existing agendas they have chambered up ready to fire.

Truth simply does not feature.
