Is Trump's frustration with his 'swampish' AG correctly held?

Our corpulently grave head of the Justice Department . . .
. . . recently surrendered to the forces of Washington DC's omnipotently dismal swamp:
U.S. Attorney General William Barr on Monday quashed calls by U.S. President Donald Trump for the Justice Department to investigate his predecessor, Barack Obama, saying he doesn't expect the department to probe either Obama or his vice president, Joe Biden, in connection with the controversial Russia investigation.
“As to President Obama and Vice President Biden, whatever their level of involvement, based on the information I have today, I don’t expect Mr. Durham’s work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man,” . . . referring to a Justice Department review of the Russia investigation led by U.S. Attorney John Durham.

Barr's surrender confirmed the merit of . . .
. . . Caitlin Johnstone's (just hours before) comment that:
You will never see Obama or his administration officials brought down by “Obamagate” for the same reason Trump wasn’t brought down by the Mueller investigation: the swamp protects its own.
Both Obama and Trump administrations are packed full of crooks and mass murderers who could and should be imprisoned for any number of offenses, but they won’t be, because that would require a prosecutorial body that is separate from the swamp of corruption with which both of America’s mainstream parties are inexorably interwoven.
You cannot use the swamp to drain the swamp.

Surely the Hand of God was at work in crafting such a perfectly timed illustration of Johnstone's prediction.
Is Toddling Donny right for a change?
Our Mendacious Swine in Chief sometimes outshines his equally repulsive Democratic opponents in demonstrating a primitive form of perspicacity.
With some justice, the President tacitly criticized his Attorney General's announcement about letting Obama and Klan off the hook:
“I don’t say disappointed or not but I have no doubt that they were involved in this hoax, one of the worst things ever befall to this country in terms of political scandal.
I have absolutely no doubt that Obama and Biden were involved, and as to whether or not it is criminal, I think it would be very serious,” the president said.
“It was a takedown of a president, regardless of me, it happened to be me, and in my opinion[,] it was an illegal takedown,” Trump said.
“I’m going to let the attorney general make all of those decisions. I am going to stay out of it because it is the appropriate thing to do.
I wouldn’t have to stay out of it as you know, but I’ve decided to stay out of it.”

'Gravitas' Bill Barr did not get to where he is — by miscalculating where the Power is
Thus, King of Hypocrites Obama (and his now sadly diminished former vice president, Joe Biden) will skate.
As will (most probably) the associated arch evilities — James Comey, John Brennan and James Clapper.
That cabal almost certainly 'architected' the Deep State's pernicious try to unseat then-newly incoming President Trump with Russiagate lies.
And, as of Barr's announcement, instead of placing blame at the high level where it actually belongs — some probable FBI underling (like Peter Strzok and Lisa Page) will have to take the eventual accountability hit. If one ever takes place.
A comment about peon survival
Marine Corps General James Mattis once said:
Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.

Be mindful of the Mattis Prescription, if you want to avoid being solely fingered for an atrocity that someone, higher in the chain of command, prompted.
Always know where the power lies, what forms it takes, and how you can apply your own small (but persuasive) portion of the Payback Cudgel.
In other words, do not naively let a Top Dog leave you holding the bag.
When one of my biker friends was long-ago asked (by a naif) how someone of his lowly status in life could wreak vengeance against the societally powerful — he held up two fingers a bullet-width apart and said — "With 7 cents of this".
The moral? — Did William Barr finally show his true stripes?
Lazy, unprincipled, self-first and pungently rotten?
Or simply realistic?
Notice in this incident, also, that Barr is whittling himself some post-Trump room for maneuver.
By exhibiting mild independence now, the Attorney General is probably indicating that he has signals that the Trump Era is teetering. We can forecast, from Barr's openly displayed independence, that Trumpian Rats are building post-Donny lifeboats.
How tastily revealing an Oligarchic pot-boiler is this turning out to be?
