Trump, the strategic imbecile — and a comment about predatory nihilism

Two illustrative prongs, regarding the Iran War

Geography links up with Chinese naval capability to demonstrate President Donald Trump's imbecility.

Read on.

Prong 1 — geography

Russia's land military — by now, more capable than the United States' own — has spent four years uprooting Ukraine's next-door NATO-supplied forces.

And that's from roughly only 20 percent of Ukraine's flattish (armor, artillery and drone-suited) land surface.

Iran is 2.7 times larger than Ukraine. Its population is more than double Ukraine's.

Iran is also mainly comprised of geologically rugged territory that is unsuited to significant components of mechanized warfare.

Last, unlike Russia and Ukraine's geographic adjacency, Iran is (roughly speaking) between 6 and 7 thousand miles from the United States.

So, Donnie Boy, you propose deploying a (conveniently only tiny) fraction of the United States' comparatively inferior land-fighting military:

approximately 7 thousand miles

to fight in

a land mass 2.7 times larger and notably more rugged

than the terrain

that the militarily superior Russians have demonstrated having had significant trouble conquering only 20 percent of,

even though Ukraine is virtually inside the Russian Federation's front yard?

Which American genius came up with this splendidly suicidal idea?

Prong 2 — China, as another stumbling block

China has an advanced signals-intelligence ship, the Liaowang-1, reportedly lingering just off the coast of Oman:

At its core, Liaowang-1 represents one of the most sophisticated maritime intelligence platforms ever constructed, engineered to dominate the electromagnetic spectrum from the open sea by intercepting, analysing and classifying radar emissions, communications signals and missile telemetry across vast distances.

Displacing roughly 30,000 tons, the ship’s massive hull provides the physical infrastructure required to support a dense array of surveillance systems, including at least five large radar domes and multiple high-gain antennas that collectively form the backbone of a powerful electronic intelligence architecture.

These sensors enable the vessel to track up to 1,200 air and missile targets simultaneously, a capability that transforms the ship from a passive observation platform into an operational surveillance hub capable of constructing a detailed electronic picture of regional air and missile activity.

The technological edge underpinning this capability lies in the integration of deep neural-network algorithms capable of analysing electromagnetic signatures with an identification accuracy exceeding 95 percent, enabling the system to distinguish between ballistic missiles, stealth aircraft and conventional aerial platforms.

Liaowang-1 has — we can reasonably assume — been feeding Iran's missile-launch crews with up-to-date reports of who and what is where.

Cobble that with Chinese and Russian satellites-gathered data and intelligence — and the idea of trying to insert even small contingents of American troops into Iran is worse than nonsensical.

In addition to being 100-percent evil . . .

. . . American leadership is 100 percent psychotic.

A subset of Christian evangelicals in the United States — apparently including high-ranking elements of US leadership — are irrationally (and spiritually twistedly) pushing the Bible's purported end-o-times rhetoric.

That twisted nonsense currently rides on Israel's 'chosen Jewish people' genocide of Palestinians — as well as anyone else who asserts himself (herself or itself) to be equal in the eyes of God.

That is an excellent example of just how lunatic, theological extremes routinely become:

Let's prove how evil we are.

So that a small portion of the most evil among us can be Jesus-saved.

In accord with our exactly reversed interpretations of Jesus's teachings, regarding how we should behave toward others.

The moral? — This is not a morally and intellectually favorable time . . .

. . . to have been born a well-meaning American citizen and troop:

The truth is that we are the villains.

We are the terrorists.

We are the tyrants.

We are the evil regime.

Our soldiers aren’t out there defending our country, they’re out there murdering people for defending their country.

They’re not fighting for freedom and democracy, they’re fighting for money and power.

It’s time to wake up to the reality that western civilization is a depraved dystopia where most people are sleepwalking in a propaganda-addled stupor under an empire that is fueled by human blood.

And it’s time to awaken to the fact that as westerners it is our duty to tear that empire down brick by brick, for the sake of our children and grandchildren, and for the sake of our fellow man.

Geopolitical realism cannot share the boat with theocratically predatory nihilism.

Cross that line, and one self-identifies as having become purely and irretrievably Satanic.
