Slapping former President Obama's hypocrisy — President Trump just signed an order to get rid of the US drone murder program's civilians-killed accountability list

Why keep track of something — when you don't give a darn about it?

The United States has climbed back into its "shining city upon a hill" world leadership:

In the latest step toward rolling back Obama-era rules for targeted killings, President Donald Trump will no longer require U.S. intelligence officials to publicly disclose the numbers of people killed in drone strikes and other attacks on terrorist targets outside of war zones.

Trump ended the reporting requirement by signing an executive order Wednesday.

Obama dramatically expanded the use of targeted strikes with drone strikes against al Qaeda and the Islamic State group. He also sought to put in place a set of rules designed to promote accountability and encourage policymakers to minimize civilian casualties.

Critics said those rules placed unwarranted constraints on counterterrorism operatives.

And thus

We see that:

the American arms industry moves into even greater profitability

and

the CIA's characteristically paranoid minions get to do whatever they want, whenever and wherever they will.

I cannot think of a more efficient prescription for the ultimate triumph of truth, justice and human good will.

The moral? — We can thank President Trump for so honestly revealing the United States' true face

With President Obama's vast escalation of international American drone murder, he peacefully talked one way and viciously acted another. Now, we have a president who does not bother to conceal America's happy hand in our randomly aimed Death from the Skies business.

Makes ya proud, don't it?

My World War II dad would be appalled. But he's long dead, and what did he know anyway?
