A predictable charade — again

 

Immediately after Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg's death — the Lamestream provided Senators Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins with their usual "Republican moderate" media platforms — for displaying pretended open-mindedness, regarding the next Supreme Court pick:

 

 

Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska said Sunday that she opposes the Senate voting on a Supreme Court nominee ahead of the November election, reiterating comments she made hours before Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death was announced on Friday.

 

Murkowski joins Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) in breaking with their party’s leadership on the matter.

 

President Donald Trump and many of his Republican allies have called for the vacant seat created by Ginsburg’s death to be filled quickly. Confirming Trump’s nominee would ensure a 6-3 conservative majority among the justices.

We'll all breathlessly wait for you two (stoutly spined Defenders of Just Liberty) to hold back the Republican Tide of Monarchist Wannabes of which you are an inseparable part.

 

And to which, you always finally collapse in sighing demonstrations of oh-so conveniently abandoned 'principled women of the people' piddle-prattle.

 

 

The moral? — In America, deja vu repeats itself endlessly
