Pelosi and Schumer of the Party of Fake Opposition — kneeled for 8:46 minutes, while wearing African Kente cloth — barfing laughter not far behind

Can you imagine the meeting in which these clowns came up with this idea?

Do we respond with laughter or barf?

Congressional Democrats wore stoles made of Kente cloth during a moment of silence for George Floyd [see here], drawing criticism from observers who felt they made the traditional African textile into a political prop.

About two dozen Democratic lawmakers, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, knelt for eight minutes and 46 seconds at the Capitol's Emancipation Hall as a tribute to Floyd on Monday.

Most of them were seen wearing Kente cloths [see here] during the moment of silence as well as during a subsequent news conference.

Criticism of the stunt revolved around . . .

. . . misuse of a traditional African weaving.

Mine goes deeper.

Here is leadership from a Plutocracy-sponsored political party — one that is equally responsible with Republicans for the continuing mistreatment of millions and millions of Americans — pretending that they are not — and will not continue to be.

With decades of recent History proving what a bunch of rapacious Adam Henrys Democrats are:

including during the reign of the 'black' King of Hypocrites (Barack Obama) —

these continually conniving fools

think that

appropriating an item of African heritage

(exclusively for their power-mongering purpose)

is visually and spiritually appropriate

as well as

politically effective.

I doubt that anyone, who is not already a Democrat pansy-patsy, is fooled.

Pertinent to such posturing

Stephan Richter (a German) recently observed that:

In U.S. democracy, the law of inverse proportions applies:

The louder the public outcry, the more one can be sure that nothing will happen to remedy the actual problem.

[I]t is hard to escape the conclusion that the United States represents the most cynical country in the history of Western thought.

Nowhere is the gap between self-laudatory statements and political realities bigger.

The preferred modus operandi is to operate what might best be termed as “fake government.” Such a government engages for the most part in pretend actions.

A country where democracy is rendered so dysfunctional . . . is really a nation that lives in the permanent state of impotence.

In such a nation, bringing about the common good — if it occurs — is a matter of happening purely accidentally, not the consequence of serious policymaking.

The moral? — With leadership like ours . . .

We do not even have the dignity of exiting the World's leadership stage, without looking asinine while doing it.

Self-defeated and ridiculous at the same time.

There's an achievement to be proud of.

We should arrange a Thunderbird and Blue Angel flyover to celebrate being so (exceptionally!) talented.

Be sure to wear an American flag pin atop your Kente cloth scarf. That'll send the right message.
