Enough to make an honorable person vomit

NATO must build out “even higher readiness” and strengthen its weapons capabilities along its eastern border in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the military alliance’s chief said on Tuesday.

 

Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg was speaking after informal talks in the Netherlands with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and the leaders of Denmark, Poland, Latvia, Romania, Portugal and Belgium . . . .

 

“Tonight we discussed the need for more robust and combat-ready forward presence and an even higher readiness and more pre-positioned equipment and supplies.”

 

Stoltenberg said he agreed that Kyiv should be supplied with more heavy weaponry, but provided no details.

 

“In terms of weaponry, we stand united here that it is crucial for Russia to lose the war,” Dutch leader Rutte told reporters in The Hague.

 

“And as we cannot have a direct confrontation between NATO troops and Russia, what we need to do is make sure that Ukraine can fight that war, that it has access to all the necessary weaponry.”

. . . had earlier (and eloquently) described this anti-Russian flock of US-led NATO contemptibles — this way:

 

 

López Obrador said Monday that the allies’ policy was equivalent to saying “I’ll supply the weapons, and you supply the dead. It is immoral.”

 

 “Couldn’t the war in Ukraine have been avoided? Of course it could.”

The moral? — The US-led West models stick-wielding, yellow-bellied decadence . . .

 

. . . in an unembarrassed fashion.

 

The unembarrassed part demonstrates the level of spiritual rot to which we have sunk.

 

As spine-worthy President Lopez Obrador said — even before Stoltenberg and Rutte opened their nasty yaps — the Russo-Ukrainian War could have been avoided.

 

Had the United States, we can deduce, not been so determined to start it.

 

To top this Cowards' Parade off, Ukraine is currently shelling civilians in Donetsk.

 

Presumably so, with some of the artillery batteries and artillery shells that the US and European Union have provided Ukraine's Nazi-controlled military.

All so similar to the United States' death-dealing involvement (with the Saudis) in killing Yemeni kids.
