International Criminal Court is investigating Putin for war crimes in Ukraine — hmm

Let's put this into objectively minded perspective
The International Criminal Court is investigating Russian president Putin for war crimes committed in Ukraine:
The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) has announced an investigation into Russian President Vladimir Putin over possible war crimes in Ukraine. However, international criminal law has its limits.
The ICC is a permanent international criminal court based in The Hague. Its legal basis is the Rome Statute of 1998 and it is responsible for four core crimes: genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and crimes of aggression.
The members of the court include 123 countries. Russia and Ukraine are omitted as they signed the statute but did not ratify it.
Karim Khan, the chief prosecutor of the ICC, has been investigating war crimes and crimes against humanity in Ukraine since 2014.
At the beginning of last week, he announced that the inquiry should also include “all-new suspected crimes” committed in Ukraine.

Hmm — did the ICC ever investigate an American president . . .
. . . for the United States' own (arguably Putin-dwarfing) war crimes?
You know, like slaughtering hundreds of thousands in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Yemen and so on?
Of course not.
Nevertheless, we continue polishing the Chalice of Western Hypocrisy with hysteria's happy fervor.
The ICC's bias-flaunting posturing will provoke Russia . . .
. . . (and probably China) more than ever.
On a practical level, the Criminal Court's announcement merely adds to the West's self-destructive obliteration of the international economic system that the United States once controlled.
There is no conceivable way that Russia, China — or anyone else with a strategically capable brain — is going to continue to subject itself to the existing West-controlled financial system, which can so easily be turned against them on the basis of subjectively biased American whims.
We already see sanctioned Russia and far-seeing China scrambling to loose themselves from the West's banking and financial grasp.
In sum
After incessantly goading Russia into committing the ICC's alleged Ukraine-located war crimes — and therefore the United States itself having become accomplice (accessory and co-conspirator) to mass murder — the Biden administration continues trying to jettison all discernable traces of intelligence in virtually everything that it does.
The moral? — Get back to my ghost in 10 or 15 years . . .
. . . and tell me how well this US-NATO idiocy worked out for us.
I suspect that the future picture is going to be a much diminished one for our Alliance of Stone-Headed Fools.
