Mr. Trump, his running mate JD Vance continue to make baseless claims about Haitian immigrants in Ohio.

 

This weekend there were new bomb threats in that [Springfield, Ohio] town.

 

 

Holt's hand-off-to reporter . . .

 

. . . (Maggie Vespa) went on with a tale of days of bomb and mass shooting-threat shutdowns, no total numbers provided, in Springfield.

 

 

From Holt's strange conjunction of facts

 

We are (apparently) to infer that Trump's debate claim — that immigrant Haitians were eating other people's pets in Springfield — resulted in the following:

 

 

presumed Trump followers making bomb and shooting threats in Ohio

 

and

 

Ryan Routh attempting to kill Trump in Florida.

 

 

Sure, that sounds right

 

Trump is, implicitly according to Lester Holt, the Devil.

 

And thus, is responsible for mayhem-filled disorder all over the United States.

 

Including twice-attempted murders against himself.

 

 

The moral? — Propagandized America has become so brainless that . . .

 

. . . its statements of purported fact are impossible for non-stupid people to rationally string together.

 

The United States is sinking on its vacuously boggy mat of non sequitur inanity.
