I will start conceptually backwards today

Leading with 'rearmament' news from a pipsqueak country that parallels Imperial America's own warmongering.

Thus, from mighty Denmark:

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said her government would announce plans on Wednesday for a "massive" rearming of Denmark's military due to the growing threat posed by Russia.

"We must upgrade massively to protect Denmark. And we must rearm massively to avoid war," Frederiksen told parliament on Tuesday.

Denmark is currently experiencing "the most dangerous situation in our lifetime."

"This is worse than during the Cold War," she said.

After emergency talks in Paris over the US change in policy on the Ukraine war, Frederiksen warned that Russia is "threatening all of Europe now".

The war in Ukraine has been about Russia's "imperial dreams, about building a stronger and a bigger Russia, and I don't think they're going to stop in Ukraine", she told reporters.

She warned the US against attempts to agree on a "fast" ceasefire that would give Russia the chance "to mobilise again, attack Ukraine or another country in Europe".

Since the outbreak of the war in February 2022, Danish support to Ukraine has amounted to some $7.52 billion in military support and around $741 million in civilian contributions, according to the Danish foreign ministry.

Denmark's typically Western illogic

Apparently, we in the West cannot permit Russia to defend itself against the same Ukro-Nazis that the West (courtesy of the United States) couped into power in Ukraine in 2014.

That 'Maidan' seizure of government having been followed by those same Ukrainian Nazis' murder of 14,000 Russian Ukrainians over 8 years.

In short, the West murderously provokes the very behavior that it purports to end. And afterward, blames its manipulated victims for defending themselves.

Lost in this characteristically Western blend of lies and hypocrisy, is the easily demonstrated fact that the American Empire has started the fights that it has been involved in over the last many-many decades.

News from CENTCOM:

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) conducted a Bomber Task Force Mission in the Middle East, Feb. 17, to demonstrate force projection capabilities in the region.

Two B-52s from RAF Fairford, U.K., flew across Europe and through nine partner nations in CENTCOM’s area of responsibility during their mission, which included aerial refueling and live munitions drops at ranges in several partner nations.

Additionally, U.S. F-15s and four partner nations provided fighter escorts for the bombers throughout the mission.

“Bomber Task Force missions demonstrate U.S. power projection capability, commitment to regional security, and ability to respond to any state or non-state actor seeking to broaden or escalate conflict in the CENTCOM region,” said Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla, CENTCOM commander.

Can't have those pesky Arab and Persian guys trying to stop Israel's Palestinian extermination campaign, now can we?

The moral? — In the West, we invent enemies

And then do all the things that our imagined enemies would do, if they daily acted like us.

A more morally and intellectually contemptible slaughter-prone 'civilization' would be hard to imagine. Nevertheless, Western populations go along with this blend of Blatant Evil and Blanket Stupidity, with virtually nary a squeak of rejection.

Demonstrating — ad nauseum over many accumulated centuries — that human beings are likely unfit for long-term Darwinian survival.

After all, once you slaughter the populations and infrastructures around you, as a matter of Satanic principle, what supply-line civilizational basis is left?

We Americans are (comparatively soon, I estimate) going to find out how this integrational principle works, vis a vis our strategically unnecessary and self-initiated war with China.

Eventually, we are going to be materially diminished by our own vicious dumbassery.
