Bonehead Joe does it again — let's start a war with China, he implies

Yesterday, I termed President Biden's voyage into power, imbecilic

Immediately thereafter, news sources told us that the President had enthusiastically placed a towering exclamation point at the end of that characterization.

And he threw in a dose of customary American braggadocio — for its added brain-staggering effect:

The United States would come to Taiwan's defense and has a commitment to defend the island China claims as its own, U.S. President Joe Biden said on Thursday, though the White House said later there was no change in policy towards the island.

"Yes, we have a commitment to do that," Biden said at a CNN town hall when asked if the United States would come to the defense of Taiwan, which has complained of mounting military and political pressure from Beijing to accept Chinese sovereignty.

While Washington is required by law to provide Taiwan with the means to defend itself, it has long followed a policy of "strategic ambiguity" on whether it would intervene militarily to protect Taiwan in the event of a Chinese attack.

Biden said people should not worry about Washington's military strength because "China, Russia and the rest of the world knows we're the most powerful military in the history of the world."

"What you do have to worry about is whether or not they're going to engage in activities that would put them in a position where they may make a serious mistake," he said.

"I don't want a cold war with China. I just want China to understand that we're not going to step back, that we're not going to change any of our views."

Yes indeed, Joey . . .

. . . let's bumble around in your empty head — making threats and escalating tensions — just so you know that you are (for sure!) in charge.

Let reality intrude — just for a moment

The US cannot win a military confrontation with China over Taiwan. Such a war would likely stalemate, only to be followed by a nuclear confrontation — possibly also involving Russia — if one side did not eventually back off.

Strategically speaking, China will certainly not retreat from its understandably undertaken mission to reunite the Chinese people. Abandoning that goal would be equivalent to the United States allowing China to lop off some of the northern tier of American states just for the PRC's own meddling fun.

Consider, in contrast, that on our side of the Great Water, the American people — equally certainly — do not have the interfering 'balls' to think that they should vaporize themselves, just to keep American Neocons happy.

Unfortunately, We the Rabble will probably only recognize our unwillingness to melt — in atomic conflagration — after the nukes begin flying.

Such is the American public's ignorant, braggart-based inability to read the strategically obvious.

Therein, lies the danger of having a dementia-burdened president — surrounded by Lunatic Neocons — on the US command deck.

The moral? — This is what happens, when people knowingly elect Vacuity to the presidency

Every day, the United States swirls lower in the Cosmic Toast Effluent.

And apparently now, we are contemplating adding radioactive bangs to our Exit Serenade. For decorative effect, I guess.

I remain (negatively) impressed by Americans' willingness to go from a megalomaniacal, narcissistic, lazy and grossly incompetent 'moron' — to a visibly demented — and inferably equally corrupt, incompetent and psychically twisted — commander in chief.

This national phenomenon exactly defines a self-destructively inclined population of (arguably dopey) people.

Propaganda. It's what's for dinner.
