Beto O'Rourke as an example of Democratic Party cluelessness in Texas

Giggle over this example . . .

. . . of living on another planet and not realizing it.

To wit

Beto O'Rourke, running for Texas governor in 2022, is a Democratic Party pretty boy, who lacks brain signal.

That's a condition similar to the one displayed by the collection of ham-fisted, gender-fluid, reverse-race-baiting, warmongering and always autocratically inclined Dem-dopes in Washington, D.C.

O'Rourke, who comes from El Paso — and really-really should know better — said this recently:

Democratic Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke on Sunday said he stands by his controversial 2019 comment that “we're going to take your AR-15, your AK-47.”

Asked by co-host Dana Bash on CNN’s “State of the Union” if he would stand by his vow if elected governor of Texas, O’Rourke said, “I still hold this view.”

A politician might get away with expressing that . . .

. . . perceived form of (urban) namby-pamby-ism in one of America's 'blue' states. Which are, not entirely coincidentally, now being overrun with flagrantly committed crimes. But not in Texas.

Why O'Rourke would not hedge his political bets be being (arguably) more 'temperate' is a valid question.

In my book, Beto only achieved revealing how divorced he is from his state's prevailing and deeply engrained, rural culture.

I cannot see any political candidate skating to statewide election victory on a platform that removes one of Texans' widely presumed birthrights. No matter how dangerous, tragic — or just silly — the pontificating candidate thinks that it is.

Why, after all, would 'we' elect a governor, who wants to squash our essence in the name of him knowing better than we do?

The moral? — Arrogant imbecility of this type . . .

. . . is the hallmark of the Democratic Party, these days.

I hypothesize that an unknown mental virus has invaded the entirety of the American political system.

We, as a nation, are competing to see which groups (among us) can seize power by demonstrating themselves to be the biggest, autocracy-dispensing sociopaths on the planet.

If this is not a parade of self-selected national self-destruction, I would be challenged to name what is.

Has everyone tumbled into Crazy-Tude?
