Being American is morally wearying, these days

Consider the following — from AntiWar's summary of a Wall Street Journal article:

The Trump administration has asked congressional leaders to approve a new $1 billion weapons transfer to Israel that will be funded by US military aid, The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday.

The deal includes 4,700 1,000-pound bombs worth more than $700 million and $300 million worth of armored bulldozers, which the Israeli military uses to demolish homes and infrastructure in Gaza and the West Bank.

The request for the new arms transfer comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in Washington and set to meet with President Trump at the White House on Tuesday. He’s expected to push for US support for Israel to restart its genocidal war in Gaza instead of fully implementing the ceasefire deal.

The Journal report said Netanyahu is also expecting Trump to push ahead with a massive $8 billion deal that President Biden notified congressional leaders about in early January.

The report said some Democrats in Congress put a hold on the massive sale and that the Trump administration is now pushing congressional leaders to unblock it.

The $8 billion deal includes munitions for fighter jets and attack helicopters as well as artillery shells. The Trump administration also recently released a hold on a shipment of 2,000-pound bombs for Israel.

Not to be outdone . . .

. . . in presidential scumbaggery by his mass murdering predecessor, President Trump blandly announced that — here in excerpts:

The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it, too.

We'll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings — level it out. Create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area. Do a real job. Do something different.

We're going to develop it, create thousands and thousands of jobs, and it'll be something that the entire Middle East can be very proud of.

I do see a long-term ownership position, and I see it bringing great stability to that part of the Middle East, and maybe the entire Middle East.

He means a newly stable place . . .

. . . stolen by ultra-rich people, who accumulated their lucre by blood-sucking the rest of humanity.

We are supposed to believe that Jesus would be proud.

Mohammad, maybe not so much.

And further demonstrating that . . .

A poll by the Jewish People Policy Institute has found that “more than eight out of ten Jewish Israelis support the plan” proposed by President Donald Trump to ethnically cleanse the Gaza Strip of Palestinians by resettling them in Egypt and Jordan.

The poll also found that among the minority of Israelis who did not support Trump’s plan, only 13 percent opposed it because they viewed it as immoral.

Among Jewish Israelis specifically, the number who oppose the ethnic cleansing of Gaza for moral reasons is just three percent.

Three percent. If that isn’t a sign of a morally diseased society, I don’t know what would be.

The moral degeneracy which makes such a large-scale lack of basic human empathy possible is the natural consequence of everything the state of Israel is and always has been.

Jewish Israelis are indoctrinated from birth to view Palestinians as less than human, because otherwise modern Israel makes no sense.

It makes no sense for an apartheid state where one group receives preferential treatment over others to have been dropped on top of a pre-existing civilization whose land, rights and dignity were then violently stolen from them — if you view all the parties involved as equal.

So they are trained not to view them as equal.

Americans, by and large . . .

. . . seem to agree with that 97 percent deep mass of psychotic Israelis.

Otherwise, Biden and Trump would not have gotten away with genocidally slaughtering, starving, and violently displacing Palestinians — via the use of American money, armaments and directly applied military assistance.

A slow-moving karma?

With the advent of the Internet, duplicitous homicidal mania is more easily recognized.

This means that non-rotten souls tend, eventually, to unite against it.

The United States, I suspect, is not going to be fondly remembered, as History slowly (or swiftly) sweeps us off the stage of human progress.
