Unintended dark humor — 31 scientific associations sent a letter to Congress — about climate change

Trying to communicate with monkey-brained people is challenging
Thirty-one science societies sent Congress a letter a few days ago. It unintentionally sarcastically began:
We, as leaders of major scientific organizations, write to remind you of the consensus scientific view of climate change.
Obviously, having to remind someone of something in plain sight does not compliment their intelligence or observational skills.
“Who are those guys?”
The letter quietly concludes with the names of the signatory societies. I doubt that Congress knows what some of the referenced branches of science even are.
“Say who?”
The moral? — Educating fools is generally a losing proposition
When the United States is done in, we will have our acceptance of high levels of ignorance and stupidity to blame.
For example, did you see that the Texas implicitly says that it is okay to home school children and not teach them anything at all? Because, you know, The Rapture is coming for sure this time.
I bet our competing China friends got a happy laugh out of that one.
If you are curious — here are the names of the science organizations that signed the letter
