COVID bureaucrats are tyrannizing the United States

Americans are putting up with this?

 

If ever there was a time to start figuratively guillotining some of our tyrannically uninsightful Government(s) and their Police Gestapo Bands, it is now.

 

 

For example

 

In Michigan, the governor decided that paint and garden seeds and plants were not essential items and could not be sold.

 

Keep in mind that it is planting time for some foods, even in Michigan.

In Pennsylvania, liquor stores were ordered to shut — but — booze could still be sold at competing grocery and convenience stores.

 

I guess COVID is a good excuse to do some leftist-sponsored social engineering and forcibly put allegedly undesirable business folk out onto the Street of Homelessness.

 

The same kind of social engineering logic took hold in New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts — all of which banned gun sales.

 

I assume the rationale for some of the firearms ban is that "we" don't want people — who are imprisoned in their own houses — drinking and shooting each other over petty annoyances that arise in such confined spaces.

 

On the other hand, with many states and localities happily announcing that:

 

 

(a) they're going to release prisoners from jails and prison "early"

 

and

 

(b) many police departments are focusing more on harassing people

 

by

 

setting up checkpoints to make sure that Big Daddy is in full control

 

or stopping cars with out of state plates

 

rather than

 

(c) actually confronting criminals

 

or

 

responding to calls for assistance

 

or

 

simply taking crime reports . . .

 

. . . an argument (d) could be made that owning newly bought guns (as our society crumbles) makes very good sense.

 

"Essential" sense, even.

 

 

What is an essential?

 

Sewing materials and machines are not, in most states, considered 'essential' during this COVID pandemic.

 

Yet, at the same time, authorities have been asking for assistance in making medical protective masks. Because they unforgivably lollygagged (with regard to fostering genuine national security) for so many decades.

 

So, how 'ya' gonna do all this mask-making — locked up at home — and without having even online access to all the necessary stuff?

 

Cognitive dissonance of this kind demonstrates the foolishness of expecting the same government types — who got us here — to have even a minimal understanding of what is essential to societal functioning (in crisis) — and what is not.

Counterterrorism troops have been deployed [Italy] to deal with non-compliant “rule breakers.”

 

Anyone the U.S. authorities deem to have “intentionally spread the coronavirus” can be arrested and charged as a coronavirus terrorist [US].

 

Artificial intelligence firms are working with governments to implement systems to log and track our contacts and movements [United Kingdom].

 

[T]he terrifying part is how millions of people immediately switched off their critical faculties, got into line, and started goose-stepping, and parroting hysterical propaganda, and reporting their neighbors to the police [US] for going outside for a walk or jog (and then sadistically shrieked abuse down [Spain] at them . . .).

The moral? — Don't trust Government or its fear-everything-and-then-some Public . . .

 

. . . with anything actually essential to thriving Liberty.

 

Whatever one gains in arguable security will usually be instantly lost to enduring repression.

 

Even sheep are more in love with wild pastures than we Homo sapiens usually are.
