Why this national news — and not the other?

 

On the basis of nothing especially revealing — or even connected to a likely suspect and traceable lead — NBC News and much of US media have revived the sad Nancy Guthrie case.

 

US media have spent an inordinate amount of national news time bemoaning that (now long insoluble) case of kidnapping and murder.

 

As if this particular homicide stands as an unavoidably paradigmatic scar upon America's soul.

 

This curiously remains so, while these same media outlets consistently ignore the scope and perpetrators of Israel's decades of mass slaughter in Palestine, Lebanon and wherever else, it and the sponsoring United States, can reach.

 

 

Evidently in America . . .

 

. . . the life of one comparatively wealthy and elderly white woman is worth radically more attention, than those lost lives of tens of thousands of genocided brownish (and forcibly impoverished) babies, children, mothers and fathers.

 

 

From this repeatedly displayed form . . .

 

. . . of imperially inclined cultural racism, one can reasonably conclude that the phrases 'sense of equitable proportion' and 'in America' cannot be included in the same sentence.

 

Or even the same book.

 

 

The moral? — US culture is a propaganda-controlled . . .

 

. . . hotbed of intentionally camouflaged spiritual dumbassery.
