Rockheads have trouble learning from History

Pussy Putin is a good example.

Why this West-oriented stooge is still in power, befuddles me.

Where are the modern Zhukovs?

Iran's less cowardly (than Putin) leadership appears, ultimately, to be following Vladimir P's example of half-witted unrealism.

Instead of seriously taking Israel out — and instantly and massively damaging the US economy at the same time — Iran has settled for:

only partially delivered

too weakly tit-for-tat

retaliations.

These half-measures will ultimately put Iran — notably much less than a US military and economic peer power — at a survival disadvantage.

Of this strategically questionable situation

Paul Craig Roberts wrote— here in excerpts— that:

Iran shares with Putin the unwillingness or inability to seize the initiative and take control.

Iran responds only after Iran has permitted . . . an attack on itself that destroys many Iranian resources. Then after major losses Iran responds.

This is a stupid way to fight a war.

[W]hy in the middle of a war for existence does Iran propose conditions that do not include Israel’s abandonment of the Zionist agenda of Greater Israel?

It is extraordinary that twice in a row Iran allowed Washington’s deceit to set up Iran for sneak attacks that destroyed Iranian leadership and military and civilian resources.

A country that understands that it is fighting for its continued existence would have done what Trump and the Zionists did–strike first.

Why didn’t Iran use its most lethal and most difficult to defend against weapons to take out all Israeli-American radar installations, aircraft and troops that were sitting ducks on runways and in bases, and sink the two aircraft carriers?

The war would have been over.

Perhaps the first target should have been Israel’s nuclear reactor and nuclear weapons at Dimona, thereby leaving Israel engulfed in radiation.

It would be interesting to know how many wars have been won by countries that leave all initiative in the hands of their opponents.

One survives murderous psychotics by killing them

Or alternatively, making the publics — whom these psychotics lead — experientially recognize that they, too, will suffer painful consequences from the wars of aggression that the powermongers-in-charge instigate.

No one wants to have a lead ape's looney actions get them squashed.

The moral? — Perennial idiocy self-eliminates from the gene pool

In whatever ways that the Russian and Iranian situations turn out, some elements of human stupidity will become slightly less represented in Homo sapiens' genome.

I had hoped that this purging would target some of humankind's slaughter-prone lunatics.

However, in the likely absence of achieving such a desirable outcome — there might a lesser advantage to be gained in purging Lead Dither-Monkeys' own DNA.

Yes, I know that apes and monkeys are not the same genus.

My deliberately mangled metaphor intensifies the derogatory point.

A world of obedient sheep — and slavering wolves — can still be described as being a less painfully turbulent order, than that which now prevails.
