In regard to United States’ obviously failed democracy — in this instance, the crybaby-initiated Republican Party federal government shut-down
With 800,000 plus people instantly out of work — at an estimated economic cost of $1 billion per week — Republican California Congressman Devin Nunes described his budget-obstructing colleagues as:
Lemmings with suicide vests.
I think it’s moronic to shut down the government over this.

Yes, that’s us
A nation of metaphorically sprinting (near brainless, bomb-wearing) lemmings.
Salivating delightedly, as we intentionally sail off a cliff edge that everyone saw coming.
Those of us — who are not crushed at the base of the fall in the pile of what was once (apparently) Rodent America — will have to give Representative Nunes a prize for so concisely capturing 21st Century American experience.
The moral? — Nitwit Nation
Reputedly intelligently designed by God.
